THE BAY THEATRE PLAYERS
BTP is a very active community theatre company operating our own theatre,
The Bay Playhouse, in Batemans Bay, on the South Coast of New South Wales, Australia.

We are a Registered Charity ourselves, with Charitable Status Number CSN 120507

The group presents three and sometimes four Productions each year, encompassing a broad range of Australian and International Comedy, Drama, Farce, and Musicals.

Being entirely self funding and owning our premises gives us the opportunity to assist other Local & National Charities in their fundraising activities....some $10,000 annually.

BTP offers what is probably the world's most "No Brainer" fundraising evening....we offer the Group a discounted ticket price, the Charity Group then sells at a higher price (Groups often provide a light Supper and Raffle to make the evening "special"). Nett proceeds then contribute to the Group's fundraising by simply having a very good night out where WE DO ALL THE WORK, even the washing up !!

Each other year (odd numbers) we engage our dynamic and lively Youth Theatre Group in a Musical production and/or variety shows.

We also have The Bay Theatre Singers, a peripatetic choir, who perform all over the place, primarily entertaining in retirement villages and other community functions. There is also our static but extensive Costume Hire Shop.

We set high standards of theatre and of having fun !
