DISH - Disability Info Support Hub - Coffs Harbour 1.39

The Disability Info Hub (which is sponsored by Disability Advocacy NSW) involves setting up a location in Coffs Harbour as a “hub” for an identified time and place where families and people with a disability can visit and be educated on their rights and empowered to act independently to address issues they are faced with. The project will aim to create a core group of knowledgeable, empowered individuals and parents who will be encouraged to educate and empower other parents and carers over time. The Hub will also connect with families to request them to support the project and the aims of the group and to create a network of support from all their peers.
