Eastern Suburbs Rugby Union Football Club. - Hobart 3.34

The Eastern Suburbs Rugby Union Football Club Inc. was established in 1964 and is the only rugby club on the Eastern Shore of the River Derwent in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia.

In 1976 we were the first rugby club in the state to build their own licensed clubrooms, and remain the only club open 7 days a week for the enjoyment of members & guests.

We currently field a mens 1st grade Rugby team, and support a number of junior teams. We are looking to develop our player numbers through a well planned junior development program, but as we all know its a long process.

The club also supports a number of other activities and we field sides in Touch, Mixed & Ladies Netball, Darts & Eightball competitions. We have also developed a great record as the host to other clubs and naval visits and would be happy to welcome anybody coming to this beautiful part of the country.
