Freemasonry is a fraternal organisation that encourages morality and virtue through symbolic and allegorical instruction. Freemasonry has a long and rich heritage in Maitland, dating back to the establishment of the beautiful lodge building in 1886. Then, as now, charity was a core principal of masonic tradition. The members of our lodge strive to maintain this principal through ongoing charitable work. This page is intended to provide general information about Freemasonry, as well as updates on the many charitable and community based events our members are involved in.
