ABOUT ME (MAT ZUKAUSKAS)
- My name is Mat ZUKAUSKAS ( call me Mat or Zac), and I have recently gained my certificate 3 & 4 in fitness which now qualifies me as a Personal Trainer and Gym Instructor.

- Whilst I am a new to the world of Personal Training, I have had many years’ experience within the fitness industry as a client/member of gyms, coaching and as a member of multiple sports teams. I have played senior football in the TSL and have represented the state in underage national carnivals and continue to play senior football in the Old Scholars Football Association.

- My aim with fitness is to maintain my own health and well-being. I have learnt the importance and benefits of maintaining an active lifestyle through seven years’ experience as an operational police officer. Through the knowledge I’ve gained I am committed to sharing my experiences to help others become healthier in everyday life.

- MatZukauskasPT4 is the service that directly provides the tools for everyday functional requirements and brings out the healthier you. Also providing a quality, affordable, professional & safe fitness service to the people of Hobart.

- I’ll supervise your sessions and provide you with guidance & motivation to help you with your fitness, strength or weight loss journey/experience.

- My training sessions can be individually tailored or conducted in groups and they will include a variety of training techniques & tools to ensure you always feel challenged & stimulated to keep you motivated.

- I love cross training (mixing it up) with Kettle Bells, Sandbags, Medicine Balls, Boxing, Battle Ropes, Dumbbells, Slam Balls, Agility Ladders, Skipping, Indoor & Outdoor sessions. So contact me to come and try it all out.

Mat Zukauskas PT4 is a mobile personal training service on Hobart’s Eastern Shore.

Most sessions are held either at OHA Football Club rooms (indoor & outdoor) in Geilston Bay or Simmons Park (outdoor) in Lindisfarne. BUT as stated before, I am a mobile personal training service, therefore I am available to travel to you or an area near you on Hobart’s Eastern Shore at your request.

So if you don’t feel comfortable going to a gym, working out infront of others or want to give it all a go for the first time call, text or email me (0409 215 008 // [email protected]). I cater to all ages, gender and fitness levels.

PERSONAL TRAINING –
Sessions are offered as 30min or 60min bookings available to individuals or small groups. These personalised sessions are designed to cater to your specific needs, requirements or fitness goals. This includes a pre-screening exercise questionnaire, a program designed specifically to you, fitness testing to measure progress, personalised attention for you to learn more and help prevent the risk of injury. All this is to ensure you learn more and get the most out of each session.

Small Group Personal Training is also available for groups of 2, 3 or 4 people. I prefer no more than 4 people (more than 4 can be negotiated) so I can still give that personal touch, provide the support & encouragement to each individual needs. This is a great way to save money by sharing the cost (split the bill) plus the additional benefits of working out with your friends, family or workmates.

GROUP TRAINING –
Group Training is a 45 minute session focused on using various movements & cross training exercises by incorporating resistance, cardio & strength to provide a challenging workout environment for all types of fitness needs. Group Training is an indoor (Geilston Bay) & outdoor (Lindisfarne) sessions designed to keep your heart rate up to burn more calories (aka burn fat), tone up, lose weight and increase your fitness & improve your physical & mental health & well-being. Similar concept to ‘bootcamp’ BUT with less yelling & more of a personal & friendly environment.

Exercising in an alternating time of WORK & REST between the various movements & cross training exercises. This is a session for people of EVERYONE, whether you are a beginner or regular exerciser, you go at your own level & pace. Plus it is a more effective way to utilise your workout time opposed to doing separate cardio & strength sessions.

SPORTS TEAM TRAINING –
Any Football, Soccer, Rugby, Basketball, Hockey Cricket or any other sports teams in Hobart looking to mix up their training or break up the mundane pre-season & season training program give me a call as I have plenty of equipment, training techniques and exercises to put your team through.

FITNESS PRGRAMMING // PROGRAM DESIGN
If you already have a gym membership or workout on your own and want some guidance, new ideas or a fresh start I’ll design a new program for you. Whether the program be for strength, weight loss, running or a 6 week get fit for summer program, contact me by phone or email. Fees vary on depth and length of program.
