Courtney and Mick Phillips are both Launceston based Personal Trainers who like to think outside the box.

Here at Mind & Body Fitness, we truly BELIEVE that you are not just a body. You are a MIND, and you are a BODY. We need to look after both components for ourselves, for overall health, our well-being and for our happiness and that is where Courtney and Mick come in.

Who are you’re here trainers here Mind & Body Fitness?

Courtney and Mick have a wide range of achievements both personal and professional, qualifications and life experiences that make them the unique and outstanding personal trainers that they are today. They are parents, husband and wife, a team..... friends.

When asked what is healthy to you?
......they answered as follows.

‘Healthy to us is being satisfied and happy in all aspects of your life. Mentally, physically and spiritually. Healthy is not found in a number on the scales nor is it found in the size of your pants. It must come from the inside so that in turn it can radiate on the outside - HEALTHY Mind, HEALTHY Body.

Here at M&BF that’s what we like to work with, the inside stuff. The stuff that usually gets looked past, the stuff that most of us forget about while we search for our "healthy" in numbers’ - The "stuff" that can sometimes get a bit too much and makes us want to quit the path that we truly want to.... and are meant to be on.

What Can Courtney offer you?

We are excited to announce Courtney is beginning to open up her books for personalised Mind Coaching appointments. She runs our highly successful health and wellbeing, SIX to SUCCESS program as well as offering limited 1:1 Personal Training sessions.

Watch this space as she brings in BODY COMBAT to M&B Fitness as well as healing work including Reiki.

Current Qualifications, experience and training: Certificate 3 & 4 in Fitness. TRX suspension trainer. Les Mills AIM 2 Body Combat Instructor, Level 1 Reiki Certified. Studying Nutrition (current). Ex Bodybuilder and Fitness Competitor. Power Band Certificate and level 1 & 2 Kettlebells. Group fitness Instructor.

Exclusive 1:1 PTs. Mick runs our fun, supportive and successful 6AM FITCAMPS, FEMMEFIT, XTREME and SATURDAY BOOTCAMP.

Current Qualifications, experience and training: Certificate 3 & 4 in Fitness. Studying MMA Strength and Conditioning Certificate (current). Ex bodybuilder competitor. Power Band Certificate and level 1 & 2 Kettlebells. MUAY THAI fighter with 2 fights in his career to date.


We are determined to keep providing Launceston with many successful programs including FemmeFit, Six to Success and 6am FitCamp.

Courtney and Mick Phillips aim to provide you with an amazing support base and secure environment in which will assist you in overcoming any fears of insecurities that you may have in joining your typical commercial gym.
